Frauenfeld \| 80-100% (jobsharing possible) The contribution you can make • Assume technical management related to the operation of the basic infrastructure of information and communication technologies at the computing center on layer 1, including planning and implementation of fiber optic and copper network installations, introduction and expansion of hardware, replacement, commissioning and decommissioning • Analyze and resolve faulty hardware and fiber optic and copper network system states (incident management) and provide support during reconstruction and restart procedures, e.g. after system failures in the TIC and GTE areas • Support local management of computing center surfaces, system rooms and inventory using SAP as well as monitor the operating status via Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) • Collaborate on operating projects and perform on-site tasks, e.g. migrations or expansions of the infrastructure • Regularly perform standby service and intervene outside regular working hours in case of hardware and building technology faults (RVCSE) <br /> What distinguishes you • Completed training as a ST/SSS technician in the fields of telecommunications and/or system/network technology and/or facility management or equivalent basic technical training (AFC) in the field of telematics, electronics or multimedia electronics • Professional experience in the operation of IT infrastructures (computing centers) preferably with interdisciplinary specialist knowledge in the IT fields of activity • Knowledge of layer 1 cabling systems corresponding to the current state of the art, including the necessary standards and norms • Ability to think logically and analytically, sense of responsibility, stress resistance, precise way of working, discretion and willingness to perform standby service <br /> In summary You will assume responsibility and a central role in a technically challenging environment.
