Kanton Schaffhausen, Grundbuchamt / Notariat The Grundbuchamt / Notariat of the Canton of Schaffhausen is responsible for maintaining the land register of all municipalities in the canton. It is the advisory contact point for matters of property, inheritance, and company law, primarily in connection with real estate. Furthermore, it is responsible for the preparation and public notarization of all contracts concerning rights to real estate and is the cantonal certification office.
