For a Swiss mechanical engineering company that has been developing and producing high-precision machine tools for industrial manufacturing for many years, we are looking for an independent and motivated

Application Technician (m/f/d) ###

Your Tasks ###

• Commissioning, optimization and general acceptance work of our machine tools
• Error analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting on machine tools and controls
• Carrying out laser measurements for machine optimization and quality assurance
• Creating feasibility studies and time calculations for our customers
• Planning, monitoring and evaluation of trials and test runs
• Close cooperation with the departments of development, production, sales and service
• Planning and implementation of customer training and user training
• Supporting our customers with process optimization in machining
• Carrying out customer trials on our machines
• Programming, running in and optimizing acceptance components

Your Profile ###

• Training in the field of polymechanics or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of machining technology (turning, milling, processing technologies)
• Very good knowledge of Heidenhain and Siemens controls
• Strong mechanical understanding and technical know-how
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
• High customer orientation as well as professional communication skills
• Willingness to travel within Switzerland, Germany and Austria
