Horse Caretaker / Stable Assistant wanted

We are looking for a new horse caretaker / stable assistant at a workload of 80 - 100%. Your start of work would be possible from an agreed date. We are looking for a person with primary responsibility for our stable and our horses, also during our absences such as holidays, tournaments or courses. We are a private Western stable and have no boarders. Your working hours would be both during the week and alternatively on the weekend; you will be supported by two other assistants. The job includes morning stable duties as well as evening stable duties. You can expect a stable full of easy-going Appaloosas of every age.

Area of responsibility:

• mucking out
• feeding (hay + concentrate)
• bringing horses in & out
• pasture maintenance
• moving horses lunging / treadmill (no riding)
• care of the horses grooming / Bemer use etc.
• health check of the horses
• care of other farm animals during our absences (chickens, cats + other small animals)
