As Commercial Manager, you take on economic responsibility for defined transport and product solutions throughout the entire life cycle. In close cooperation with Sales, Quotation Planning, Supply Chain Management and Operations, you ensure that our services are provided economically, stably and sustainably. In doing so, you combine commercial thinking with operational excellence and contribute significantly to the sustainable success of our company. To complement our Sales team, we are looking for, effective immediately or by arrangement, for our headquarters in Olten, a: Commercial Manager (m/f/d) 100% Tasks As Commercial Manager, together with the responsible specialist departments, you are responsible for the economic development and management of defined transport and product solutions. Together with our customers and internal specialist departments, you develop tailor-made transport solutions, accompany new traffic from the quotation phase to go-live and ensure that quality, economic efficiency and scalability are guaranteed at all times. You continuously analyze the performance of your products and traffic with regard to profitability, quality and costs. Together with Supply Chain Management and Operations, you derive optimization measures, manage their implementation and continuously develop existing solutions. As a central interface between Sales, Quotation Planning, Production and other specialist departments, you coordinate cross-departmental topics, accompany tenders and support the development of new customer solutions. In doing so, you ensure clear handovers as well as a smooth flow of information between all parties involved. With your analytical and entrepreneurial thinking, you identify economic risks and optimization potentials at an early stage. Based on target-actual analyses, you identify potential for improvement, continuously develop existing standards and thus make a significant contribution to the stability, competitiveness and profitability of our European transport network. Profile You have a completed degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification. Ideally, you bring professional experience in rail freight transport, logistics or a comparable international environment. You have a strong understanding of economic relationships and complex processes. You analyze key figures confidently and derive sound decisions and sustainable improvement measures from them. You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner. You find it easy to bring different interests together, to coordinate across departments and to maintain an overview even in demanding situations. Strong communication skills, initiative and assertiveness characterize you. You have good German and English skills in spoken and written form. Italian, French or Dutch skills are an advantage due to our international environment. Occasional travel within Europe completes your profile. Contact Interested?
