Carpenter EFZ/EBA furniture construction and interior design – Luzern and Obwalden

For our customers – various carpentry and interior design companies in the cantons of Luzern and Obwalden – we are continuously looking for trained carpenters EFZ, carpenter practitioners EBA, and experienced employees from wood processing.
You can expect long-term temporary assignments in furniture construction and interior design. If the cooperation suits you and the assignment company, there is the possibility of a later permanent position directly with the customer.

Job Description

Depending on the assignment company and your professional strengths, you will take on the following tasks:

• Production of individual furniture and interior designs
• Manufacturing of kitchens, cabinets, doors, and other wooden elements
• Working according to plans, technical drawings, and parts lists
• Cutting, processing, and assembling various wood materials
• Operation of conventional carpentry and woodworking machines
• CNC processing and support at modern production facilities
• Veneer, surface, and finishing work
• Quality control of the manufactured components
• Preparation of furniture and components for delivery
• Depending on the assignment, installation at the customer's site
• Long-term temporary assignments in the cantons of Luzern or Obwalden

Requirement Profile

• Completed training as a carpenter EFZ or carpenter practitioner EBA
• Alternatively, several years of professional experience as a furniture, bench, or interior design carpenter
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or interior design
• Confident handling of conventional machines
• CNC knowledge is an advantage, but not mandatory for every assignment
• Good spatial awareness
• Ability to read plans and technical drawings
• Precise, reliable, and independent way of working
• Enjoyment of high-quality and accurate work in the workshop
• Ability to work in a team and good manners
• Good German language skills
• Driving license category B and own car are an advantage depending on the workplace
