Social worker # Cantonal social service office | 60-80 % | Landquart ## On behalf of the municipalities, the cantonal social service office performs the task of providing social and addiction-related assistance to people and supports the latter in accessing economic social assistance. For this purpose, it manages eight regional social services in the regions of the Canton. The Prettigovia/Herrschaft/Fünf Dörfer social service is responsible for 18 municipalities, with a catchment area of 43,000 people. Social counseling, addiction assistance and financial support (gr.ch) For the Landquart location, we are looking for a social worker immediately or for a date to be agreed upon. The employment is for a fixed term until 30 April 2027 Tasks • Solution-oriented and resource-oriented social counseling addressed to single people and families • Guarantee of access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance • Counseling regarding linguistic, professional and social integration for recognized refugees and provisionally admitted refugees as well as foreigners • Collaboration with social authorities and specialized services • Other varied, interesting and responsibility-filled activities What we expect from you • Completed training as a social worker BSc/SUP or equivalent training • Aptitude for working with people of different social background and/or cultural origin • High counseling skills as well as solid specific legal knowledge in the field of social assistance in the social insurance sector • Sociability, ability to sustain intense work rhythms, predisposition to teamwork, good communication, organizational and administrative skills • Ideally, you have good knowledge of foreign languages • Autonomous and solution-oriented working method We look forward to receiving your online application and will be pleased to meet you.
