To strengthen our team, we are looking for a senior systems and networks engineer (80-100%) starting now

Your responsibilities

• Design, development and documentation of system and network architectures for installations and systems in the fields of supply and disposal, energy as well as in industrial environments
• Model-based system development and application of MBSE methods (e.g. SysML/UML) for the structured description and development of complex systems
• Integration and coordination of hardware, software and communication components into global system solutions
• Elaboration and development of network, security and system concepts with a focus on stability, security, scalability and long-term operation
• Configuration, integration, commissioning and testing of network and system components in projects and operational environments
• Planning and implementation of validations, verifications as well as laboratory, automated and field tests
• Requirements engineering and ensuring traceability throughout the entire system life cycle
• Application and development of development and integration processes, for example according to the V-model or agile approaches
• Operation, maintenance and targeted support of client installations and network infrastructures within the framework of projects and service interventions
• Analysis and resolution of complex problems related to systems, networks and security in 2nd and 3rd level environments
• Technical support to project management and pre-sales, notably for solution concepts, system architectures, network design and offers
• Coaching, knowledge transfer and support of colleagues on technical issues

Your qualifications

• HF/FH/ETH/University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, systems technology or a related technical field, or equivalent qualification
• Several years of relevant professional experience in system engineering, network engineering or system integration, ideally 5 to 8 years
• Deep knowledge in TCP/IP, routing, switching, IPsec and firewall technologies
• Experience with network and security solutions, for example Fortinet, Cisco or Arista
• Good knowledge in system architecture, modeling and MBSE, ideally with SysML, UML or Model-Based Design
• Experience in requirements engineering, traceability as well as in validation and verification
• Knowledge of testing methods and preferably in test automation
• Understanding and practical experience of agile development processes, V-model or classical methods
• Experience with quality standards and regulatory requirements is an asset
• Continuing education and certifications in the fields of network, security or system engineering are a plus, e.g. Cisco or Fortinet certifications
• Category B driver's license and availability for interventions at clients in German-speaking Switzerland
• Very good knowledge of German orally and in writing as well as a good reading comprehension
• Neat, structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working
• Taste for understanding, structuring and transforming complex technical contexts into practical solutions
