Metrology Technician 80-100%

In the Industrial X-Ray Modules (IXM) division, we offer safer, more economical, and groundbreaking solutions for non-destructive testing and security applications through the development of intelligent industrial X-ray technologies.

What you will do:

• Planning and execution of quality inspections on mechanical parts and assemblies using 3D-CMM as well as conventional measuring tools
• Creation and optimization of measuring programs for 3D-CMM
• Recording, documenting, and evaluating measuring results as well as creating and maintaining inspection plans and inspection instructions
• Creating Non-Conformity Reports (NCR) in SAP and technical clarification of deviations with internal and external bodies
• Participation in root cause analysis and quality improvement in exchange with manufacturing technology, production, and purchasing

What you bring:

• Completed training as a quality or metrology technician and practical experience in 3D-CMM metrology
• Experience in the manufacture and testing of mechanical parts and assemblies, ideally in a high-tech environment such as precision mechanics, medical technology, vacuum technology, or the watch industry
• Good knowledge of ISO GPS as well as quality methods such as 8D and Root Cause Analysis (RCA/RCCA)
• Basic knowledge of statistical methods, especially Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
