Bern, Schweiz \| 100-100% (job sharing possible) Your contribution <br /> • You are responsible for the holistic collection, analysis, and management of functional and technical requirements in your assigned areas. • You assess technical specifications and supplier offers with regard to performance, costs, and budget. • You lead DWH and BI projects or take over sub-project management. • You take over functional leadership as the service owner of the responsible IT services in the field of labor market statistics as well as operational and dispositive reporting. • You are responsible for the conception, business analysis / requirements engineering, and test responsibility in DWH and BI projects, as well as in the maintenance and further development of IT services. • You ensure the consultation of specialist departments in the areas of analytics, BI, reporting, and statistics. <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Completed university degree (FH or university) in business information technology, computer science, or a comparable qualification is an advantage. • Several years of professional experience in business information technology, preferably in the management of complex IT systems and IT architectures. • Very good knowledge and proven experience in the areas of analytics, BI, DWH, reporting, and statistics. • Analytical and conceptual thinking skills, ability for functional leadership, and enjoyment of working in cross-functional teams. • Good active knowledge of an official language in spoken and written form, passive knowledge of a second official language, as well as English skills. <br /> In a nutshell The Directorate for Labor of SECO is part of the federal competence center for all core issues of labor market policy and unemployment insurance. The Labor Market/Unemployment Insurance (ALV) service area is responsible for the Unemployment Insurance Act as the compensation office of the ALV fund. As part of the IT division, the Application Services Datawarehouse group contributes to the monthly creation/production of the official labor market statistics of Switzerland, provides tools for the efficient and impact-oriented management and control of decentralized enforcement as well as management support tools for the compensation office and the enforcement offices, and is responsible for over a dozen extensive data and analytics applications.
