For our client from the public sector in Bern, we are looking for a Clerk Cash Services & Financial Administration (m/f/d) with a strong affinity for numbers and very good Excel skills. Key data Start: 01.09.2026 Duration: 6 months with option to extend Workload: 100 % Work location: Bern Working model: 60 % on-site, 20-40 % remote Your tasks • Maintenance and updating of reconciliation lists for the operation of ATMs Processing, consolidation, and analysis of extensive Excel datasets from various sources • Reconciliation of target and cash balances based on financial data and journals Checking, analysis, and cleansing of data to ensure high data quality • Support in financial reconciliations and controls of cash transactions • Creation and preparation of evaluations and reports • Identification and clarification of discrepancies in reconciliation and booking data • Collaboration in the optimization and gradual automation of existing processes • Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and the Cash Services team • Assumption of further administrative and commercial activities Your profile • Completed commercial training or comparable qualification • Experience in the finance, accounting, or controlling environment • High affinity for numbers as well as an analytical and structured way of working • Experience in processing large amounts of data • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Good knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications • High accuracy, ability to concentrate, and quality awareness • Independent, reliable, and responsible personality • Very good German skills in speaking and writing What awaits you • Exciting activity in a stable environment of the public sector • Varied tasks with a focus on financial and data processes • Opportunity to participate in process optimizations and automations • Flexible remote possibilities • Modern working tools and a collegial environment Interested?
