The Wirtschaftsmittelschule (WMS) is a full-time school that, following compulsory schooling, leads to the qualification of Kauffrau EFZ with Berufsmaturität. Around 77 committed teachers accompany the approx. 700 learners professionally and personally. Your tasks For the school year, we are looking for a teacher in the subject WEB-Project, optionally combined with ICT (Information, Communication, Technology) workload approx. 50 % immediately or by arrangement You teach adolescents and young adults between the ages of 15 and 20 at our locations Liestal and Reinach. With your expertise and your enthusiasm for digital media, you design practical and motivating lessons. In the subject WEB-Project, you specifically accompany our learners in the areas of: Image editing with Adobe Photoshop Creating and designing websites with WordPress Basics of HTML and CSS Planning, implementation and presentation of web-based projects You promote the independence and creativity of the learners and support them in their professional and personal development If interested, the workload can be supplemented by around 30 % with teaching in the subject ICT (Information, Communication, Technology). Your profile Degree in the field of web design, informatics, interactive media or a related field as well as sound practical experience Ideally a pedagogical training or the willingness to complete it Experience in imparting specialist knowledge to adolescents or adults Joy in teaching and in dealing with young people Strong pedagogical and didactic skills Independent, responsible and team-oriented way of working Interest in digital developments and innovative forms of teaching Why us?
