• Planning and accompanying research assignments as well as valorization of research results in the field of housing and real estate
• Supporting the directorate in dealing with housing market-relevant and spatial social issues in the housing sector
• Representing the office as an expert in federal working groups and in external organizations
• Developing decision-making bases, reports and publication texts

This makes you unique

• University degree in the field of social sciences, geography or political sciences, with professional experience
• Proven knowledge of the interconnections in the housing sector, interest in social policy, spatial planning and housing economic issues
• Experience in research and in handling the resulting qualitative and quantitative data
• Strong conceptual and editorial skills; extremely independent way of working and the ability to network
• Very good active knowledge of two official languages as well as good English skills; good knowledge of a third official language is an advantage
• Performance-oriented personality, team spirit, organizational skills, accuracy, networked thinking

The Bundesamt für Wohnungswesen (BWO) is the federal competence center for questions regarding housing and real estate use. The BWO implements the housing policy of the Confederation and is responsible for tenancy law. For many tasks, the BWO maintains cooperation with partners, such as other federal offices, the cantons, cities and municipalities, but also with research institutions, associations and the economy.
