Located in the Vevey region, between city and country, the Cité du Genévrier welcomes adults with disabilities due to intellectual deficiency. A multidisciplinary and multi-site structure, it offers the people welcomed a particularly harmonious living and working environment as well as a set of skills adapted to the needs and aspirations of each individual. Integrated into the Fondation Eben-Hézer, the Cité du Genévrier is the custodian of the moral testament of its founder, Sœur Julie Hofmann. In this capacity, it considers the happiness of the people welcomed as the ultimate goal of its action. Mission ### The "Les Jalons" group accompanies 6 adults with autism spectrum disorders as well as intellectual deficiency and other associated disorders such as epilepsy. The residents are aged 45 to 65. The structuring of time, the team's rigor, and the clarity of support routines support the resident in their daily life. Meeting the people accompanied and their humanity allows us to become spokespersons in their connection with the outside world. The team colloquium, as the cornerstone of the group, allows for questioning educational practices, confronting visions, in search of the debate that allows consensus to be reached. It is also a place allowing for perspective when facing difficult situations. The educational team, experienced and demanding of itself, is sincerely involved in daily support. The qualities and differences of each are seen as a wealth, and humor and solidarity are essential resources for the team's balance. In order to complete the educational team, we are looking for a social educator (M/F). Desired Profile ### • Hold a diploma as an ES/HES educator or a CFC as a socio-educational assistant or a CFC as an ASSC • Experience or knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and behavioral disorders is an asset • Sense of organization and interest in multidisciplinary work • Rigorous, always up for a challenge and questioning practice with an evolutionary aim • Enjoy being challenged in professional daily life • Reflexive, proactive and motivated, knowing how to position oneself • A lacemaker's hand in a conductor's glove, does that speak to you? You master common IT tools, possess a driver's license and are willing to work irregular hours including during weekends.
