SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT: Rhetoric and Moderation We make media makers. The MAZ is the leading competence center for journalism and communication directly at the Luzern station. As a foundation, supported by various well-known sponsors in the media sector, we ensure the training of career starters, further educate media professionals, and train communication managers and executives. We are looking for an engaged person on a mandate basis, starting immediately or by arrangement, to help shape our education and further education offerings as SPECIALIST Rhetoric and Moderation (30-50%) Your role At MAZ, you will take on technical responsibility for further education in rhetoric, moderation, and presentation. The focus is on the supervision and further development of the CAS Rhetoric and Moderation as well as other offerings in the specialist area. Together with a network of experienced lecturers, you will ensure that the offerings remain technically up-to-date, didactically convincing, and practical. Your core tasks Responsibility for offerings: You supervise the CAS Rhetoric and Moderation as well as other offerings in the specialist area and continuously develop them. Quality assurance: You ensure the technical and didactical quality of the offerings and regularly review course content together with MAZ. Active lecturing: You regularly teach yourself in programs, courses, and corporate offerings. Lecturer management: You evaluate, recruit, and accompany lecturers and maintain a network of experienced experts. Course support: You accompany the implementation of the offerings, act as the technical contact person for lecturers and participants, and support exams as well as proof of performance. Market development: You represent the specialist area externally, support the announcement of the offerings, and bring new topics and market needs into the development of offerings. What you bring with you Stage and media experience Many years of practice and experience as a moderator, rhetoric trainer, or communication professional and have made a name for yourself in this field. Presentation competence: You know the requirements of professional presentations before an audience, camera, and microphone from your own experience. You combine convincing appearance with credible communication, careful preparation, and respectful conversation management. Didactic and coaching competence Lecturing experience: You have experience in adult education and a wide repertoire of practical exercises and training methods. Coaching competence: You support people in specifically developing their impact, voice, body language, and presence. Digital formats: You know the requirements of today's presentations – from classic stages to podcasts to video formats and social media. Collaboration: You enjoy working with other lecturers and develop offerings together with MAZ.
