Do you want to take on responsibility and apply and expand your professional knowledge? At the Regierungsstatthalteramt Oberaargau, a versatile leadership role awaits you. You will lead the specialist department for Municipal Supervision and Central Services and be in exchange with municipalities, authorities, and the population. In doing so, you will combine leadership tasks with exciting topics at the interface of administration, law, and politics.

Your tasks

• Exercise municipal supervision and process demanding specialist matters
• Maintain and coordinate cooperation with municipalities, authorities, and other stakeholders, as well as organize conferences and further training
• Help shape office policy and communication and support the Regierungsstatthalter in demanding matters
• Personnel leadership of the specialist department
• Perform tasks in connection with the fight against domestic violence, in the licensing system (hospitality industry, prostitution industry, etc.) as well as in the regional leadership body

Your profile

• Commercial training with further training as a Gemeindeschreiber/-in or comparable qualification
• Leadership experience as well as negotiation skills in dealing with municipalities, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Empathic, open, and communicative leadership personality
• Strong planning and organizational skills as well as quick comprehension
• Very good German skills as well as solid French skills
