As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated PLC Developer until 31.12.2030, with high probability of extension.
Roche Diagnostics is looking for a PLC developer with a strong electrical engineering background and experience with C\# and Python. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with industrial controllers in structured text (ideally, B&R) and developing robust real-time automation solutions. Apart from developing PLC code from the ground up, the candidate has to support integration tests on the instrument and is responsible for the formal documentation of the control software. A key part of this role involves collaborating closely with the hardware and high-level software teams, so a solid understanding of electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, and component datasheets is essential. Hands-on experience in electrical hardware design (cable drawing, wiring schemes, PCB design) is a must. The candidate will be responsible for designing modular, structured PLC software, interfacing existing automation designs, providing support for bringing up new instrument modules, and ensuring seamless integration between software, electrical hardware, and mechanical subsystems. Roche Diagnostics is looking for someone who is a pragmatic problem-solver, an interdisciplinary team player, and has a passion for creating complex, reliable automated systems.

Must-Haves ###
- A degree in a related field, Fachhochschule is a minimum requirement
- Min. 3 years in hands-on PLC development, min. 3 years in electrical design
- Good social skills to work in an interdisciplinary team
- PLC development tools, PCB schematics design tools skills
- Good English and fluent German skills
Nice-To-Haves ###
- Strong experience in electrical design
- B&R Automation Studio, EPLAN, Siemens Xpedition
- Experience in motor control applications and instrument workflows
