Further information about the ILT can be found at ILT OST Development Engineer / Project Manager Automation Your tasks Development of mechatronic, automation-based and robotic solutions for demanding applications in industry and laboratory automation Participation in application-oriented research and development projects with industrial partners – from the idea through to the concept and implementation Management of project activities with internal and external development partners as well as contribution to goal-oriented implementation Support in the acquisition of new projects through technical clarifications, concept development and creation of offers Contributing own know-how to teaching as well as supporting students during internships and project work Participation in the operation and further development of the modern laboratory infrastructure Your qualification Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study Practical experience in mechatronics, automation, robotics or related technical areas Knowledge in PLC and robot programming as well as experience in the areas of Life Sciences or HealthTech are an advantage Enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation and the practical further development of technical solutions Open, communicative and team-oriented personality with enjoyment in exchange and in cooperation with different stakeholders Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working We offer Varied activity at the interface of applied research, industrial development and teaching Exciting projects with high practical relevance and direct cooperation with industrial partners Motivated, interdisciplinary team with high professional competence and enjoyment in innovation Modern laboratory infrastructure at the Rapperswil campus Scope for design as well as opportunities for professional and personal further development Interested?
