L’Association Régionale d’Action Sociale (ARAS) Jura\&nd Social Assistant L’Association Régionale d’Action Sociale (ARAS) Jura–Nord vaudois brings together 73 communes - for a population of approx. 96’730 inhabitants - which have united to offer the population a unique platform of services related to social and family affairs. The Centre social régional is looking for, for its unit specifically supporting young adults in difficulty (JAD), a: Social Assistant 80%-100% General mission You ensure the social care of entitled persons in accordance with the Loi sur l’Action Sociale Vaudoise, its regulations, its standards and its directives (notably that of the Appui social) in force through regular follow-up and the granting of socio-professional measures. In this position, you will have the particularity of welcoming not only usual beneficiaries of the Revenu d’Insertion (RI), but also young adults in difficulty aged 18 to 25 (JAD), a population for which a special system is in force aimed at enabling them to acquire a first certifying training. Main activities Social support: personalized accompaniment of beneficiaries through support, advice and follow-up adapted to their needs, taking into account their global situation and promoting their well-being. Social integration: development and implementation of measures aimed at promoting the social and socio-professional integration of beneficiaries. Empowerment: support for the acquisition of social and administrative skills allowing for the reinforcement of the beneficiaries' autonomy. Desired profile Holder of a diploma from a recognized HES-type social school (social work track or other track with a possible specific additional training) or a title deemed equivalent Professional experience in the social field Knowledge of social institutions and mastery of the standards in force regarding the granting of financial benefits and socio-professional measures Good knowledge of social insurance Mastery of usual IT tools Endowed with a marked interest in public service and the support of vulnerable persons as well as an ethics of the helping relationship, you are furthermore recognized for your flexibility and your pragmatism.
