Do you love designing events with heart and mind? Then you are exactly right with us! For our Department of Hospitality and Gastronomy at the Triemli and Waid locations, we are looking for an engaged, service-oriented leader who convinces with organizational talent and hosting qualities, starting December 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

Tasks

• You bear overall responsibility for the planning, organization, execution, and follow-up of all events at the Triemli and Waid locations
• You work closely and in partnership with the restoration as well as the kitchen and hospitality departments
• You organize and optimize the seminar and event range in the area of hospitality and gastronomy and undertake advice, sales, and billing
• You ensure the technical infrastructure for events and coordinate the use of MS-Teams, AV systems, and other event technology
• You are responsible for the event rooms, reservations, and general event setup
• You are jointly responsible for cost control, processes, and the ongoing development of the event area
• You lead, plan, and develop the event team and ensure personnel deployment according to requirements
• You personally look after internal and external customers and event organizers and ensure professional support before, during, and after the event
• You coordinate cooperation with internal departments and external service providers, especially in the areas of cleaning, repairs, and technical systems
• You organize and conduct training for employees on the use of MS-Teams, AV systems, and other technical systems
• If required, you also work on weekends and public holidays

Profile

• Completed training in gastronomy, hospitality, event management, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional and practical experience in event, banquet, gastronomy, or event environments
• Independent, solution-oriented, and resilient personality with entrepreneurial thinking and high initiative
• Leadership experience as well as strong organizational, coordination, and planning competence
• High service and customer orientation, professional appearance, and strong communication skills
• Confident handling of seminar and event technology as well as digital tools and technical systems
• Proficient in using MS-Office and MS-Teams
• Willingness to work flexible hours, especially in the evenings as well as on weekends and public holidays
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form, English is an advantage
