FEM Numerical Calculation and Simulation Engineer (M/F)

• 01 July 2026 • 100% • Indefinite duration • French (Intermediate) • 1000 Lausanne Your Missions Reporting directly to the Simulation Manager and in close synergy with the development teams, you will be responsible for the numerical validation of structures: • Numerical Simulation: Perform advanced finite element calculations (FEA/FEM) on complex mechanical assemblies, machined parts, and piping systems. • Sizing: Perform analytical sizing of components and finely analyze their mechanical behavior. • Fatigue Analysis: Conduct material fatigue and durability studies, relying on sharp expertise in metal behavior. • Critical Rigor: Critically analyze your own simulation results, identify areas for improvement, and propose concrete optimizations. • Reporting: Exhaustively and rigorously document all your analyses and write technical summary reports. Your Profile • Training & Orientation: Trained as a Mechanical Engineer, you are an exclusive specialist in simulation and calculation (this position is not design/CAD oriented). • Experience: You have proven experience of approximately 5 years in the field of FEM simulation. • Tools: You possess excellent mastery of software, obligatorily ANSYS or ABAQUS. Experience with NX software constitutes a major advantage. • Languages: You are perfectly French-speaking for technical exchanges with the team and possess an excellent level of English, indispensable for the autonomous writing of reports. • Soft Skills: You are quickly autonomous, rigorous, and endowed with a strong analytical mind. 1000 Lausanne
