The Fernfachhochschule Schweiz (FFHS) offers part-time Bachelor's, Master's, and continuing education programs using the blended learning method. For our current approximately 3100 students, we employ 180 staff members as well as over 550 (part-time) lecturers. To strengthen the Department of Economics and Technology, we are looking for a

Program Director MAS Smart Engineering (40%)

at our location in Zürich or Brig, to start immediately or by arrangement.

These are your tasks

• Strategic direction and operational management of the study program
• Content design and quality assurance of the modules and the curriculum, taking current market requirements into account
• Representation of the study program internally and externally through active relationship management with students, industry representatives, and other stakeholders
• Student acquisition and counseling, as well as suitability assessments of interested parties
• Financial management of the study program (budgeting and cost control)
• Delivering specialist lectures and presentations
• Departmental management and teaching activities in the Department of Economics and Technology

What you bring with you

• Open and team-oriented personality as well as high service orientation
• Completed university degree (Master's) in the relevant field, preferably with a doctorate
• Didactic qualification and high affinity for e-learning (blended learning) desirable, or readiness to develop further in this area
• Affinity for teaching and research
• Readiness for subject- and method-specific further training
• Network and understanding to utilize synergies with internal and external partners
