Automation Technician or Industrial Electrician – Maintenance (m/f/d)

For our client, an internationally active industrial company in the field of precision manufacturing and heat/hardening technology located in the St. Galler Rheintal, we are looking for a qualified specialist for maintenance. You will ensure smooth production processes, minimal downtime, and high plant availability in a modern, technologically leading environment.

Automation Technician or Industrial Electrician – Maintenance (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• First-level support for the production plants in the field of heat and hardening technology
• Ensuring high availability of our production plants
• Planning, execution, and documentation of preventive maintenance within the framework of TPM
• Development and implementation of optimization measures on the production lines
• Realization of industrial installations as well as commissioning of new plants
• Cooperation and clarification of technical questions with external service providers and suppliers

Your qualifications:

• Completed basic electrotechnical training as an automation technician, industrial electrician, or electrical installer
• Several years of proven experience in the electrotechnical maintenance of industrial plants
• Further training as a process specialist or maintenance specialist is an advantage
• High IT affinity as well as sound practical experience in the Microsoft 365 environment
• Experience with PLC controls (Siemens Simatic Manager or TIA Portal) is an advantage
