Manager Optical Sensors R&D

In this role, you will take on the technical and personnel leadership of a team for optical sensors and be responsible for the development of new sensor solutions in the process industry.

Tasks

• Leadership of the Optical Sensors team and ensuring effective use of resources
• Overall responsibility for the development and lifecycle management of optical sensor products
• Control and prioritization of projects, change requests, and quality improvements
• Technical contact person for optical sensor products, leadership of complex development projects
• Observation of technology trends in the field of optics and measurement technology
• Further development of the team, promotion of talents, and succession planning
• Establishment of best practices in problem solving, measurement technology, project management, and testing

Profile

• Master's degree or PhD in physics or a related field
• Demonstrable success in optics and measurement technology, knowledge of signal processing electronics
• Several years of experience in product development, ideally in a technical leadership role
• Experience in leading employees in an industrial R&D environment
• Sound knowledge of project management and problem-solving methods
• Communication proficiency in German and English, oral and written

Offer
