Software Engineer - Data Migration

• IT - Software Engineering • Zürich • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • Immediately - 31.12.2026 with option to extend • SQL Your tasks: • You design, optimize and scale the migration paths • Complex data structures are your specialty. You analyze dependencies to design and implement intelligent mapping logics and automated cleansing strategies • You develop automated tests that ensure the integrity and quality of the data throughout the entire process • You prepare the migration and test data and monitor the processing process. You contribute your findings from error analysis to the team so that solutions can be developed together • You drive the continuous further development of the development processes, tools and best practices   Your profile: • Several years of practical experience in creating and optimizing complex SQL queries • In-depth knowledge in data modeling, data management and data architecture • Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex legacy databases • Experience in the analysis of complex data structures as well as in identifying anomalies • Good knowledge of SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server • Knowledge of Python or experience with Python frameworks is an advantage. Further tech stack: Java • Initiative and analytical thinking to improve data queries and processing times • Very good language skills in German (C1) and English
