Learn more: jti.com Mechanic (3 shifts) m/f/d 100% In this versatile position, you are responsible for the professional maintenance of our cigarette production lines and independently perform the necessary maintenance and repair work. Your main tasks • Ensure the proper functioning of the production installations assigned to you • Manage the relevant machine group while respecting the set objectives • Responsible for compliance with production directives and quality requirements • Perform maintenance, service, and repair work, including preventive maintenance • Participate in projects in the machine room as well as in the development of proposals to improve machine performance • Co-responsible for the training and support of employees at the installations Your qualification and professional experience • Completed apprenticeship as a mechanic (poly-, machine, automotive or agricultural machinery) or automation technician • Professional experience in the field of production technology and/or industrial maintenance • Experience in process control and automation, knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage • Good command of German spoken and written, oral knowledge of English appreciated • Availability to work in shifts (rotation: morning shift from 5:30 to 14:00, afternoon shift from 14:00 to 22:30 as well as night shift from 22:30 to 5:30) Our benefits • 40-hour week, minimum 5 weeks of vacation • Canteen (reduced price meals) as well as free drinks / free parking • Monthly health insurance allowances for employees and their families • NBU and ITT premiums fully covered by JTI • Own pension fund with supra-obligatory benefits & JTI covers up to 75 % of the contributions • 500 CHF in Reka vouchers (payment in January) • Maternity and paternity leave (20 weeks) without salary reduction • Attractive employee benefits • Gym as well as various sports classes About JTI Japan Tobacco International (JTI) is a leading global company in the tobacco sector, employing more than 40 000 people in more than 120 countries.
