The role... Do you want to actively develop technology instead of just maintaining it? Then become part of our Electrical and Process Automation team and shape the future of our production facilities and energy supply systems with us. Together with experienced specialists, you will develop modern and sustainable solutions based on the latest technology. In this versatile function, you will analyze and troubleshoot faults, optimize existing systems, and bring your expertise to modernizations and new automation solutions. You will work independently, take on responsibility, and at the same time benefit from a well-established, interdisciplinary team with high technical expertise. How you will make an impact... • Optimize and further develop machine and system controls to increase quality, availability, and efficiency • Commission new automated production systems and processes • Program and further develop S7 controls for process automation and process control; also ABB controls in the future • Analyze and troubleshoot faults in production systems and energy supply systems • Carry out maintenance, improvement, and modernization work • Participate in exciting cross-departmental projects to introduce new technologies and processes • Standby service at most every two months (one week each) to ensure production continuity What you bring... • Completed basic training as an automation engineer EFZ or electrical installer EFZ • Further training or ongoing training at the HF level is an advantage • Knowledge of programming SPS and HMI systems • Very good German language skills; English language skills are a plus • Enjoyment of technology and interest in production and automation systems • Teamwork, initiative, and a self-reliant, solution-oriented, and safety-conscious approach What we offer? • Company participation in a annual season ticket at 50% and the employee receives the entire public transport network (ZVV/Ostwind) in addition • Annual working hours (based on a 40-hour week) with flexible working hours • Above-average salary continuation in case of accident or illness • Own cafeteria with meal options at favorable prices • Participation and support of the company in internal and external further education and training We look forward to hearing from you soon!
