Bern, Schweiz \| 80-100% (Jobsharing möglich) This is your contribution <br /> • Examination of investments by foreign investors in Switzerland based on legal, economic, and security policy issues • Creation of decision bases for the hierarchy including the preparation of motions to the Federal Council • Providing legal information on the scope of application of the IPG • Representation of Switzerland in bilateral or multilateral negotiations on investment reviews • Further development of the IPG, e.g., within the framework of parliamentary legislative processes • Until the law comes into force, the processes for cooperation with other federal offices and Switzerland's foreign representations are to be reviewed, and outreach to business associations and guidelines for stakeholders are to be prepared <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • University degree in law • Preferably with a Swiss bar admission or experience with administrative procedures • Preferably specialization in commercial and economic law, particularly M&A and competition law, or other experience with transnational investments • Committed, responsible, and resilient personality with strong analytical skills as well as high willingness to perform and pronounced teamwork skills • High social competence and service orientation towards stakeholders • Very good active knowledge of two official languages as well as English in speaking and writing, and passive knowledge of the third official language <br /> In a nutshell The performance area Export Controls, Investment Review, and Sanctions in SECO will be responsible for the implementation of the Investment Review Act (IPG), which was passed on December 19, 2025. The IPG provides for comprehensive reviews of certain investments by foreign actors in Swiss companies. A wide range of different economic sectors is affected (sensitive technologies/armaments industry, power plants/energy supply, health, telecommunications, and transport infrastructures, etc.).
