Counting nearly 1'300 collaborators and collaboratrices, the Department of Psychiatry responds to a triple mission concerning the treatment of mental disorders, training, and research. Thus, the department's mission is to effectively detect and treat increasingly frequent and polymorphic pathologies, respecting patients and their loved ones. The Centre Nicolas Bouvier (CNB) is a free reception space of the Department of Psychiatry located in Belle-Idée. It promotes exchanges and encounters in a non-care setting. Open to cultural life and creativity, it is a bridge between psychiatric care and the community. It offers activities throughout the year, led by the team or external contributors. Social Educator in Psychiatry - 80% Proposition force, you want to contribute to the projects of a large institution like the HUG and you recognize yourself in our institutional values? As a social educator in psychiatry, you support the recovery process by integrating patients into a social fabric, outside of care, through spaces that stimulate autonomy, initiative, personal interest, and interpersonal respect. You collaborate with hospital units, cultural affairs, the Réseau Santé Sport Inclusion (RSSI), and the social network. You coordinate, support, and set up activities using various mediations that allow patients to (re)find a balance between personal interest and social activity during hospitalization. While ensuring the proper functioning of the CNB, preserving the integrity of users, places, and promoting integration. You closely collaborate with the Bistro- association and support its reintegration activities in partnership. You participate in the planning, organization, and realization of events in partnership with hospital and ambulatory care units and/or other internal and external organizations. Your function leads you to participate in interdisciplinary projects within your department and to share your practice with the professional network of social educators of the HUG. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor HES in Social Education or a recognized and registered equivalent diploma by the SEFRI. You have good knowledge of mental health and psychiatry. Experience in psychiatry is essential. You have a good understanding of yourself and your own limits. You have a sense of responsibility and solid knowledge of the Geneva socio-cultural network.
