Finance Employee with development perspective m/f/d 60%

For an established company in the Basel region, we are looking for an experienced, independent and committed personality for the finance and administration area, starting immediately or by arrangement. This position is suitable for a person who enjoys taking on responsibility, works independently and wants to contribute to a company in the long term. In the medium term, the function offers the opportunity to take on additional tasks and responsibilities.

Tasks

• Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Processing, monitoring and control of national and international payment transactions
• Responsibility for monitoring open items as well as dunning management
• Support with monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Maintenance of master and accounting data as well as general administrative activities
• Processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail
• Coordination of administrative processes and ensuring efficient processes
• Contact person for internal and external stakeholders, customers and suppliers regarding administrative and accounting issues
• Active participation in the further development of processes and structures

Profile

• Several years of professional experience in accounting and administration
• Very good user knowledge in Abacus
• Confident use of MS Office programs, especially Excel and Word
• Very good German skills as well as good French, English is an advantage
• Independent, structured and exact way of working
• High sense of responsibility as well as pronounced reliability and discretion
• Rapid comprehension and networked thinking
• Team-oriented and down-to-earth personality with a long-term perspective
• Enjoyment in working into a versatile function and gradually taking on additional tasks
