Payroll Specialist - 80 %

As part of our HR transformation, Affidea Schweiz is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to strengthen our payroll accounting team in the HR Shared Service Center in Freiburg.

This position plays a key role in the continuity and reliability of payroll accounting while actively contributing to the structuring and improvement of processes in a constantly evolving environment.

We are looking for an independent, careful, and solution-oriented person who navigates complex environments, ensures data quality, and noticeably relieves the team in everyday work.

• Comprehensive handling of the monthly payroll process from preparation to the completion of payroll accounting.
• Regular preparation of statements for AHV, withholding tax, family allowances, accident and health insurance, as well as annual tax certificates
• Ensuring smooth coordination with external bodies (AHV, UVG, IJM, BVG, family allowances)
• Guaranteeing the quality and reliability of data in the payroll systems (SwissSalary) as well as mastering the interfaces to PEP/Mobatime.
• Supporting managers, employees, and our HRBP team with all questions regarding payroll accounting
• Participation in projects to structure and ensure the reliability of HR data
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and HR documentation
• At least 10 years of experience in payroll accounting in a Swiss environment as well as in the processing of payroll for several companies
• Knowledge of SwissSalary is mandatory; knowledge of Mobatime and PEP is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of Swiss social insurances (AHV, BVG, UVG, ALV, IJM)
• High level of independence and sense of responsibility
• Confident handling of complex systems, data, and processes
• Diligence, strong attention to data quality, and ensuring reliability
• Resilience and patience in the context of an HR transformation
• Fluent German skills are essential; English and French skills are an advantage
• Certificate in human resources (federal HR diploma) or equivalent training, required in the area of payroll or compensation management.
