Your contribution

• Assume responsibility for the architecture of complex IT projects with particular focus on platform architectures (PaaS) and application integration
• Design and develop scalable and high-availability software architectures for operation-critical applications with high security requirements
• Connect applications, platforms, and systems into a single coherent solution through appropriate integration and interface architectures
• Develop and continue to manage software architectures for large projects in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
• Define architecture models and standards for platforms and integration
• Provide consulting to development teams and technical stakeholders on architecture, software, and integration aspects

What distinguishes you

• University degree (FH, university, PF) in computer science or equivalent
• Several years of experience with high-availability and security-critical multi-tier architectures, ideally in a Java or Spring environment
• Experience in directing architectural aspects in complex projects and in stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as interest in strategic work
• Excellent communication skills as well as experience in consulting, coaching, and knowledge transfer
• Good active knowledge of two official languages and good knowledge of English

In this function, you will actively contribute to the architecture of the IT systems of the DFGP and define its strategic direction. Thanks to your knowledge, you will ensure the development, integration, and operation of complex applications in a durable, secure, and up-to-date manner.

The IT service center CSI-DFGP is the main provider of IT services within the Federal Department of Justice and Police (DFGP). Its success, attributable to the efficiency of the services provided, is manifested in high customer satisfaction. The CSI-DFGP develops and manages specific applications for the police, justice, and migration sectors of the DFGP.
