This is what you can achieve • Implementation, operation and troubleshooting of complex network and security infrastructures • Configuration, commissioning and fault analysis in network, firewall and security environments • Implementation and demonstration of solutions in virtualized network environments • Active and independent participation in complex projects for RUAG and its customers • Implementation, configuration and maintenance of network monitoring tools, including the definition of metrics, alerts and dashboards, the integration of solutions into network infrastructures and the optimization of systems for proactive problem detection • Contribution to the continuous improvement of network and security services This is what you bring • Degree in computer science, ideally with ICT-specific further education • At least 5+ years of experience in the field of network, Cisco CCNA level or equivalent knowledge in routing and switching is required • Firewall and security knowledge with practical experience in configuration and commissioning • Practical experience with Cisco and Check Point Maestro product families • Knowledge of storage systems, databases and experience with virtualization are advantageous • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking with initiative and assertiveness • Communicative, committed and reliable team player with pronounced service and customer orientation • Very good German language skills, good English language skills (B2) • Willingness to be on call, standby and irregular working hours if required (driver's license class B) Salary and benefits Around 3000 employees of RUAG and RUAG Real Estate make a significant contribution to the security of Switzerland every day.
