To strengthen its socio-administrative expertise across all its operational sectors, the Fondation Sgipa is looking for a:

Social Worker (Male) or Social Worker (Female)

Your mission

• Provide support, advice, and expertise to managers and teams in supporting complex socio-administrative situations;
• Evaluate social and socio-administrative situations, inform, advise, and guide the people being supported in their procedures;
• Coordinate the necessary procedures and interventions, ensure follow-up, and promote solutions adapted to the needs, choices, and life project of the person;
• Act as a resource person on social benefits, disability insurance, supplementary benefits, protection measures, auxiliary aids, allowances, and insurance;
• Develop and maintain a network of partners, represent Sgipa during network meetings, and coordinate the interventions of the partners involved;
• Prepare and follow up on fund requests for complex individual situations;
• Contribute to the harmonization of practices, the development of tools and procedures, as well as the dissemination of knowledge and best practices.

Your profile

• Bachelor HES-SO in Social Work or an equivalent title;
• Proven experience in social and socio-administrative support, with previous experience in the field of disability;
• Very good knowledge of the Geneva socio-administrative network;
• Knowledge of the principles of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD);
• Proven ability to analyze and manage complex situations, to coordinate multiple stakeholders, and to work transversally;
• Sense of responsibility, rigor, autonomy, spirit of initiative, listening skills, and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Ease in oral and written communication, organizational skills, and mastery of standard IT tools and professional software.

Type of contract: CDI

Activity rate: 80 - 100%
