University of Applied Sciences Intern Social Work Intake, 60-80 %

For our social centers, we are looking for one motivated personality each, starting February 1, 2027, or by arrangement.

Tasks ##

• You are the first point of contact for clients with financial and social difficulties and advise and support adults within the framework of statutory social assistance according to SHG (Social Assistance Act).
• You offer short-term financial support with the aim of professional and social integration.
• You work together with profile teams, specialist departments, authorities, and social insurance providers.
• You are responsible for triage, networking, and coordination, and you initiate immediate measures in the areas of social assistance and crisis intervention.
• You will be administratively supported by clerks, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist departments, and work closely with your colleagues in the team.

Profile ##

• Ongoing studies at a university of applied sciences for Social Work
• Ability to deal constructively with diversity and contradictions
• Commercial flair
• Rapid perception of complex situations and ability to take on different roles in counseling
• High interest in exchanging ideas within the team, sharing knowledge and experience, and efficient collaboration with colleagues as well as with other offices and authorities
