Universo SA is a company member of the Swatch Group, the world leader in watchmaking, whose expertise and experience have made it the reference for Swiss Made watchmaking since more than a century. The company is also a major player in the fields of dial applications and hesalite watch crystals.

In order to complete our workforce, we are looking for a Project Manager.

Job description ##

• Lead industrial technical projects from A to Z, from their design to their production implementation.
• Plan and coordinate resources, budgets, deadlines, and technical requirements of the projects.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams as well as external partners in order to guarantee the achievement of objectives.
• Identify, anticipate, and control risks to ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and the expected quality.
• Supervise the testing, validation, and industrialization phases, while providing technical support to production.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, equipment, and processes, while ensuring technological monitoring in order to propose innovative solutions.

Profile ##

• Higher technical education (HES, EPF or equivalent) in mechanics, microtechnology, materials, or a similar field.
• Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in managing technical projects in an industrial environment.
• Certification in project management, an asset.

• Mastery of project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead several projects simultaneously and to manage priorities.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and to unite different stakeholders around common objectives.
• Interpersonal ease and excellent communication with various interlocutors, notably production teams.
• Spirit of initiative, creativity, and orientation towards continuous improvement.
• Rigor, autonomy, and sense of organization.
• Interest in innovation and technological monitoring.

Languages ##

• French: native language or excellent mastery (C1 minimum).
• English: good professional knowledge (B1-B2), allowing for exchange with suppliers, partners, or consulting technical documentation.
