HVAC Project Lead Engineer
Your mission
As an HVAC Project Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for the proper execution of our mandates in the following phases:

• Project study
• Tender
• Implementation
• Operation

Techniques concerned
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Smoke Extraction
Project management

• Lead and coordinate projects from A to Z in the HVAC field (SIA phases 3, 4, 5)
• Define technical concepts, carry out HVAC studies and dimensioning, establish principle diagrams and compare variants
• Perform or verify hydraulic and aerostatic dimensioning calculations
• Write pre-project and project descriptions, as well as cost estimations
• Prepare tenders, pre-measurements and plans
• Participate in the spatial coordination of installations (MEP)
• Be able to produce hydraulic and aerostatic plans

Implementation monitoring

• Ensure execution monitoring services on site
• Control the conformity of the work, perform final tests
• Ensure the cost management of companies
• Plan and administer technical files according to the ISO quality manual

Management and coordination

• Ensure the smooth running of projects in technical, financial and temporal terms
• Monitor financial indicators and ensure rigorous budget management
• Ensure documentary conformity according to ISO requirements
• Have sharp knowledge of the contract related to the project (prerequisites, included and non-included services)
• Ability to support Management during acquisition
• Organize and monitor the activity of drafters and internal resources in coordination with other disciplines
• Collaborate closely with architects, design offices and various trades
• Manage the services of mandating companies and monitor their costs

Your profile

• ETH / HES engineering training or equivalent diploma
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HVAC design office in Switzerland
• Mastery of HVAC installations and current Swiss technical standards
• Ability to manage projects autonomously
• CECB Expert – an asset
• Skills in multidisciplinary coordination (MEP) – an asset
• Knowledge in building automation / BMS – an asset
• Good interpersonal skills, sense of organization and team spirit
• Knowledge of English or German – an asset
