Within the Abteilung Koordination, the Fachbereich Informatik supports the employees of the office with IT operations and IT projects. For the Abteilung Koordination, we are looking for a Head of IT, 80-100% at the Solothurn location as of or after agreement. Your responsibility At the interface between the Amt für Informatik and our employees, you coordinate IT operations, organize user support and promote digitalization in the Amt für Umwelt. You analyze business processes and identify digital potentials as well as synergies throughout the entire office. For our specialist applications, you capture and document requirements, plan lifecycles and releases. You lead IT projects in cooperation with the specialist managers, create project proposals and protection requirement analyses and prepare decisions for the office management. Professionally, you supervise two employees of the Fachbereich Informatik. Your profile You have a (technical) university degree in a scientific direction with additional training in IT or training in IT with good knowledge in the field of environment. In your professional backpack, you bring good knowledge in data management, business analysis, project and process management as well as requirements engineering. Ideally, basic knowledge in Geographic Information Systems completes your profile. You can demonstrate several years of experience in project management and in leading IT projects. As a team player, you are used to thinking interdisciplinary and networked and working with numerous internal and external partners. The processes in a cantonal administration are not foreign to you.
