The Fondation Enfance Emma Couvreu since 1829 is actively engaged in the reception, protection and support of minors in danger in their development. Our services are addressed to children and also to their parents. We implement our actions in accordance with values that we embody on a daily basis. Our activities are fully part of the policy of protection of minors dictated by the State of Vaud. Strong with its commitment, the Foundation manages 5 boarding schools and 6 outpatient units, mobilizing for this more than 250 collaborators. The main mission of the Socio-educational Reception of the day (ASEJ) consists in developing and supporting the necessary conditions for the resumption of the child's development and supporting parents in the exercise of their parenthood in order to favor the maintenance of the child in their family environment. In this context, the ASEJ protection measure has the mission of offering socio-educational assistance to families in difficulty in educating their child. This translates on the one hand, into a specialized educational reception and support for children aged 6 to 16, and on the other hand, into support for the family system and within the primary network. The proposed support takes place from Monday to Friday during school periods, as well as every other Saturday and part of the school vacations. Children are welcomed during the lunch break and in the afternoon between the return from school and 6 pm. The work outside the walls (at home or in the primary network) takes place mainly outside the hours of reception of children in the structure. As part of the evolution of the cantonal mission of the ASEJ, we have the pleasure of opening two new positions within our ASEJ: Unit Managers at 80% Job description The unit manager (RU) is, by delegation of the Sector Management, the daily guarantee of the institutional line. He coordinates and supports the educational team in the various tasks that allow the proper functioning of the structure. The RU represents the Management and is the guarantee of the institutional framework during the balance meetings that punctuate the ASEJ support. His interventions with situations or the professional network aim to support and guarantee the line of ASEJ support in each situation. In this context, his working time is divided between the daily reception of children (to the extent of approximately 55%) and coordination tasks.
