Le Service d'action sociale de Courtelary is looking for a versatile Social Worker to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about social work and wish to take charge of various files such as social assistance files and adult and child curatorship mandates, this opportunity is made for you!

Responsibilities ###

As a versatile Social Worker, your main missions will include:

• Accompany and support individuals and families in their social procedures.
• Evaluate the needs of beneficiaries and propose adapted solutions.
• Collaborate with the Jura Bernois network and surroundings and institutions to coordinate interventions.
• Ensure the administrative follow-up of files and write reports to the Adult and Child Protection Authority
• Establish social assistance budgets

Qualifications ###

We are looking for a candidate meeting the following criteria:

• HES degree in social work or equivalent training recognized in Switzerland.
• Experience in the social field desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Good command of IT tools and social management software.
• Knowledge of social institutions and aid mechanisms in Switzerland.
• Knowledge of allemand
