What you can achieve

• Operating, maintaining and further developing security-relevant ICT systems and services of the Swiss Army
• Management of client/server infrastructures with Windows and virtualized environments
• Ensuring software distribution, installations on specific environments as well as maintenance windows
• Coordination of releases and deployments with application owners and software suppliers
• Participation in incident management (2nd and 3rd level support)
• Ensuring and updating system documentation, instructions and checklists

What you bring with you

• Education or higher vocational training in the field of informatics, alternatively career changer with comparable professional experience in ICT specialist application operations
• Sound knowledge in the field of software and operating systems, especially Windows and Windows Server
• Experience with PowerShell scripts in the application and operating environment.
• Good knowledge of the ITIL process landscape and advantageously experience with agile methods
• Independent personality with strong communication and organizational skills
• High customer and service orientation as well as a sense for user needs
• Very good German skills and English skills (level B1-B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a higher non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
