You work directly at the pulse of things, know the needs of the customers, and recognize where a new order can develop from a conversation. At the same time, you reliably keep an eye on drivers, shipments, appointments, costs, and documents. Your tasks • You dispatch international road freight, record shipments in the forwarding system, and carefully maintain customer, partner, and address data. In daily contact with customers, drivers, and transport partners, you ensure clear processes, reliable information, and sustainable solutions • The freight exchange TIMOCOM is one of your daily working tools. You procure freight space, check offers, calculate daily prices, and support the preparation of quotations • An important part of your task is the care of existing customers. You should not simply remain an anonymous voice from dispatch, but be perceived as a competent and reliable contact person. At the same time, you enjoy winning additional shipments and building new customer relationships • You know the basic customs clearance mechanisms between Switzerland and the EU and know which documents are required for smooth processing. Some traffic is also conducted with Turkey • After the induction period, you will create evaluations of shipment volumes, effort, and yield and provide the management with sound decision-making bases. If necessary, you will also assist in billing and create invoices yourself. Should a private fleet be built up again in the future, you will additionally take on organizational tasks regarding MFK, workshop, and deployment appointments as well as the monitoring of driving and rest times <br /> Your profile • You have several years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, preferably in the dispatching of international truck traffic.
