Fleet Manager (m/f/d)

We – the company Karl Meyer-Spinnler stand for an owner-managed family business based in Muttenz. The knowledge, experience and competence of our employees are our most important resource in the production of sand and gravel, ready-mixed concrete, recycled construction materials as well as disposal and roof greening. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Fleet Manager (m/f/d) in full-time at the earliest possible date

Tasks

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the dispatchers and the entire driving staff
• Strategic control, monitoring and optimization of the entire fleet
• Responsibility for personnel deployment planning and demand-oriented control of resources to secure operational operations
• Order intake and dispatch planning together with sales, especially for large projects
• ARV recording, control and administration
• Organizing employee training in the areas of CZV, occupational safety, behavior on construction sites and process organization
• Organization and monitoring of the own truck workshop with maintenance, inspection, repair and MFK on the approx. 40 vehicles
• Planning and coordination of repair tasks to be carried out externally
• Coordination and settlement of accident and repair damage
• Operational implementation according to ARV, SUVA as well as ISO 9001 and 14001
• Collaboration on our IT systems for the ongoing optimization of our operational processes
• Interface function between production, invoicing and sales

Requirements

• Successfully completed logistical, commercial or technical training
• Several years of professional experience in fleet management or a comparable leadership position
• Sound knowledge of transport law, working hours act, occupational safety and vehicle technology
• Strong leadership personality who understands how to motivate and develop the team
• Enjoyment of customer contact and proficient in presenting our company's services
• Precise way of working in the enterprise resource planning system and willingness to familiarize yourself with a new system
• Assertiveness, organizational talent, negotiation skills and a solution-oriented way of working
