Your mission: * Collaborate closely with the mechanical design team in order to integrate welding requirements from the early design phases. * Participate in the definition and optimization of mechanical-welded assemblies, materials, joint preparations and construction details. * Verify execution plans and guarantee the feasibility of designs with regard to welding processes, manufacturing constraints and quality requirements. * Advise design engineers on the choice of welding processes, manufacturing sequences, control of deformations and accessibility of welds. * Contribute to the validation of designs before manufacturing and propose technical improvements to optimize manufacturability, reliability and costs. * Ensure the technical interface between the design office, manufacturing, quality and subcontractors for welding-related questions. * Verify welding procedures and documentation, notably DMOS/WPS, QMOS/WPQR and welding logs, created by our subcontractors. * Provide technical support during tests, qualifications and the resolution of problems encountered in manufacturing. Your profile: * HES mechanical engineer degree, completed by an IWE qualification. * At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing of mechanical-welded structures, from technical study to the preparation of the manufacturing file. * Solid knowledge in heavy boilermaking, welding processes and applicable standards. * Ability to analyze plans, to anticipate manufacturing constraints and to propose suitable technical solutions. * Proficiency in a 3D design software, ideally CATIA V5, is an asset. * Autonomy, rigor, analytical spirit and aptitude for working in a multidisciplinary team. * Availability for travel in Switzerland and abroad, to the extent of approximately 20% of working time. * Excellent command of English, both oral and written.
