Expert/Assessor Railway Safety Systems

You monitor and evaluate railway safety systems and prepare expert reports as part of certification processes. The activity includes safety audits according to applicable Swiss standards and guidelines.

Tasks

• Monitoring and evaluation of railway safety systems
• Conducting safety audits and inspections according to Swiss standards
• Preparation of expert reports and participation in certification processes
• Advising customers and internal teams on safety-relevant issues
• Updating and complying with applicable regulations and standards
• Project management regarding schedule, resource, and budget planning

Profile

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, railway engineering, or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the field of railway safety systems
• Good knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Business fluent German and/or French skills, English is an advantage
• Willingness to travel
