Foreign Trade Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)

• Integral order processing of spare parts and machine orders in compliance with all customs, export control, and foreign trade law requirements.
• Creation, checking, and administration of export, import, and shipping documents as well as certificates of origin.
• Advising and supporting specialist departments in all matters of international trade, customs clearance, and export control.
• Communication and coordination with customs authorities, freight forwarders, customers, suppliers, and external service providers.
• Monitoring legal requirements as well as implementation and continuous optimization of foreign trade and customs processes.
• Carrying out analyses, audits, and training to ensure compliance in international trade.
• Completed commercial training with an additional Swiss Federal Diploma in Foreign Trade, Federal Diploma in Customs, or comparable qualified further training in the field of foreign trade/customs.
• Several years of professional experience in international trade, export, import, or customs management of an industrial company.
• Sound knowledge of customs, origin, and preference law as well as export control and foreign trade law.
• Experience in the creation and checking of export and shipping documents as well as in handling customs and ERP systems, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
• Very good knowledge of international supply chains, Incoterms, and cross-border goods flows.
• Business fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form; other foreign languages are an advantage.
• High communication and advisory competence, assertiveness, and enjoyment of working with internal and external contact persons.
• Experience in handling letters of credit (L/C) and Cash Against Documents (CAD).
