In this context, we are currently looking for a : Metrology Technician (M/F/X) - 100% Permanent contract | Watchmaking | Neuchâtel Our client, a Swiss company recognized for its expertise in the manufacture of high-precision components intended for demanding sectors such as luxury, industry and medical, is looking for a Metrology Technician to strengthen its quality team. At the heart of control activities, you will play an essential role in the reliability of measurements, the continuous improvement of control methods and the support of production teams. Your mission A true expert in metrology, you guarantee the precision of dimensional controls and actively participate in the optimization of quality processes. In this capacity, you will notably be required to : • Program, validate and optimize measurement programs on 2D and 3D machines. • Guarantee the compliance and performance of control methods. • Train and support employees on measurement equipment and methods. • Participate in the drafting of control, setting and use instructions. • Ensure the management of control means (calibration, monitoring, non-compliant equipment, stock management). • Perform capability studies of measurement systems (Gage R&R). • Create and update plans as well as control sequences. • Actively participate in the continuous improvement of control activities in production. • Collaborate closely with the Quality, Production and Industrialization teams. Your profile You are recognized for your rigor, your technical expertise and your ability to support teams in the field. You ideally possess : • Higher education (ES Technician, HES Bachelor or equivalent) in microtechnology, metrology or industrial systems. • Proven experience of minimum 1 to 5 years in industrial metrology. • Excellent mastery of three-dimensional measurement machines, ideally Zeiss and/or MicroVu. • Solid knowledge in reading plans according to ISO and GPS standards. • Experience in the validation of control methods (Gage R&R). • Good mastery of IT tools related to quality control. • A fluent level of French and professional English (minimum B2). • A developed analytical spirit, autonomy, rigor as well as an excellent sense of communication.
