We are looking for one of our clients in the Geneva region: As a Setup Mechanic, you will be responsible for the proper execution of tasks within the workshop.

Job Description:

• Setup and Commissioning: Preparation, tool mounting and setting up CNC machines on watch components made in precious and specific materials (balance staff, case back, bezel, bracelet, etc.) on various CNCs (Willemin 408MT / S2 / 508MT2 / Robodrill / Bumotec).
• Programming: Light modifications of programs and optimization of cutting parameters (ISO/Fanuc).
• Quality Control: Rigorous self-control during production using conventional measuring tools (micrometer, dial indicator) and optical tools (Keyence).
• Maintenance: First-level maintenance of equipment and changing of inserts/tools.
• Compliance with processes: Strict application of aesthetic criteria

Profile sought :

• Training: CFC in Production Mechanic, Polymécanicien, Micro-mechanic or an equivalent title, diploma in Machining Baccalauréat or BTS.
• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of confirmed experience in CNC setup, ideally in the Geneva watchmaking sector.
• Technical Skills: Reading blueprints, knowledge of ISO code
• Soft Skills: Solution-oriented and continuous improvement, patience, team spirit and a natural sensitivity for the finished luxury product.
