We are looking for, for 01.11.2026 or by agreement, a Chief Resident in Pulmonology 50-100 % (possible jobsharing) # • Pulmonology consultations and consilium deliberations with colleagues under the direction of the chief physician of the pulmonology department • Autonomous performance of expanded pulmonological and sleep medicine examinations as well as interventions in the outpatient and hospital sectors • Implementation and subsequent development of interdisciplinary cooperation and maintenance of contacts with referring physicians and hospitals • Participation in emergency and weekend services of the medical clinic, including emergencies • Active participation in the initial and postgraduate training of assistant physicians and students in a certified postgraduate training institution • Patient-centered interdisciplinary boards (including tumor board) • Participation in outpatient pulmonary rehabilitation • Completed postgraduate specialist training in pulmonology or about to obtain it, or MEBEKO recognition already requested for foreign equivalence • Several years of deep practical experience in the specialized field would be an advantage • Cooperative, open, and team-oriented behavior • Certificate of additional training in sleep medicine would be an advantage • Initial experience in the field of bronchoscopy and interventional pulmonology. • French or German native language (or equivalent diploma) with knowledge of the other language At CHB, we live diversity: bilingual colleagues from many different professions, in the multicultural city of Biel/Bienne.
