YOUR TASKS

• Correct and professional preparation of medical devices according to recognized quality standards
• Correct and professional preparation of flexible endoscopes, including cleaning, disinfection, functional testing, maintenance, and documentation
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory sterilization procedures as well as performing necessary controls and validations
• Assembly of instrument trays, sets, and individual materials as well as their care and maintenance
• Cleaning, use, and monitoring of cleaning and disinfection devices, sterilizers, and other technical equipment of the CSSD
• Co-responsibility for compliance with all relevant standards, laws, and directives as well as administrative tasks within the scope of required documentation
• Responsibility for the management and storage of sterile products as well as guaranteeing, promoting, and verifying the quality of work

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed training as a Medical Device Technologist CFC (MPT) or technical sterilization assistant with expertise I or II; several years of professional experience in a CSSD
• Additional training in flexible endoscope preparation is an asset
• Autonomous, responsible, and efficient way of working, keen sense of quality as well as technical understanding
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications; experience with an electronic sterile product management system (EuroSDS) is an advantage
• Availability for shift work and weekends
• Good German knowledge, level B2
